Lander Forces Rubber Matchup with 13-6 Win
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – A five-run second inning and steady offense throughout powered the Lander baseball team to a 13-6 win over Georgia College and State University on Saturday afternoon at John Kurtz Field, evening the Peach Belt Conference series. The win sets up the seventh rubber matchup of the season for the Bearcats. Lander wasted no time taking control as back-to-back bases-loaded walks from Cooper Backman and Caden Crews opened the scoring.
