Lancers place well at Al Owens Classic
ALLENDALE, Mich. – The outdoor season collected several more highlight moments for Grace’s track and field team over the weekend. Grace competed at Grand Valley State’s Al Owens Classic, winning two events in a packed meet. Cece Mitchell continued her impressive campaign by winning the 5,000-meter race. She broke the tape in 17:32.72. Grace Pettit also won her race in the 3,000 steeplechase. She ran a time of 11:31.68, two seconds away from the school record.
