Lady Comets
In a game Thursday ended after four innings, the Greenville Lady Comets softball squad downed Ramsey 18-0. Kaitlyn Lurkins threw a no-hitter, striking out five batters. The Lady Comets piled up 17 hits on offense. Emma Bingham had four of them with a two-run homer. She totaled five runs batted in. Payton White and Ava Potthast had three hits each, and Lurkins hit safely twice. The win gave the Lady Comets varsity squad an 11-1 record.
