GW lacrosse struggled to find its footing against the league-leading Richmond Spiders on Saturday afternoon, ultimately falling 19–6 in conference play. The contest opened in a 1–1 tie, but the Revolutionaries were limited to just two goals for the remainder of the first half, while Richmond surged ahead with 10 goals in the opening 30 minutes.
