Lacrosse Stumbles Against Nationally-Ranked Richmond
GW lacrosse struggled to find its footing against the league-leading Richmond Spiders on Saturday afternoon, ultimately falling 19–6 in conference play. The contest opened in a 1–1 tie, but the Revolutionaries were limited to just two goals for the remainder of the first half, while Richmond surged ahead with 10 goals in the opening 30 minutes. The second half belonged to the Spiders, who extended their lead to as many as 13 goals en route to the 19–6 final.
