Knghts win thrice at Manitou Classic
NORTHFIELD, Minn. 鈥� The Carleton College men’s track & field team won three events at eh nine-team Manitou Classic hosted by St. Olaf College. The Knights collected 19 top-five results overall. Gabe Nichols paced a 1-2-4-5-6 finish for the Knights in the 5000-meter run. He covered the distance in 15:05.78 for a more than 20-second margin of victory. Travis Brown was second with an outdoor PR of 15:26.20 followed by Roy Llewellyn (15:32.70), Martin Moshfeghi (PR 鈥� 15:38.50), and Simon Chambers-Trubatch (PR 鈥� 15:40.88) in fourth through sixth places, respectively.
