Kennedy’s big day at plate leads Rams to MWC split
APPLETON, Wis. – Cornell junior slugger Corrin Kennedy went 6-for-8 at the plate with four extra-base hit in Saturday’s 5-9, 7-2 Midwest Conference softball split with Lawrence at Whiting Field. The Rams (15-9 overall, 3-3 MWC) had a 4-0 lead through 3 ½ innings slip away in the opener. Lawrence (9-15 overall, 2-4 MWC) capped the comeback with a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning.
