Houston Drops Finale to BYU
HOUSTON – The Houston Baseball team dropped the series finale to BYU on Saturday afternoon from Schroeder Park, 6-1. Houston (16-18, 3-12 Big 12) tied the game in the third inning on a solo home run from third baseman and nine-hole hitter Jackson LaLima . Right-handed senior pitcher Paul Schmitz (2-4) pitched 5.0 strong innings with seven strikeouts before stumbling into trouble in the sixth where he gave up three runs.
