Holt Cruises Past Dallas as Baseball Takes Opener
LONGVIEW, Texas — Backed by a career night from Clayton Holt on the bump, LeTourneau baseball only needed Blake Vice’s three-run homer to defeat the Dallas Crusaders 3-1 on Friday night at Conrad-Vernon Field. Holt (4-1) was pristine on the mound, scattering five hits and a pair of walks over 7.2 innings with a career-high 10 strikeouts.
