WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Linfield women’s lacrosse’s (5-7, 3-1 NWC) conference winning streak came to an end on Saturday afternoon at the Whitman Blues (7-6, 3-1 NWC), falling 17-2. The Blues struck first just over one minute into the game, taking a quick 1-0 lead. Whitman’s defense stifled the Wildcats for the majority of the opening quarter, while their offense consistently scored every few minutes to lead 7-0 after 15 minutes.
