Franco, Vollrath, Mascote, Martinez Highlight Performers At Mustang Distance Carnival and Chicagoland Championships Meets
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa/Elmhurst, Ill. — Led by Dyannara Franco , Nicole Vollrath , Dianna Mascote and Aaralyn Martinez the University of St. Francis women’s outdoor track & field team gained four Top 10 finishes between the Mount Mercy University Mustang Distance Carnival on Friday and the Elmhurst University Chicagoland Championships on Saturday. At the Mount Mercy meet, Franco opened the day with a second-place finish in the 1,500-meter run. She recorded a personal-best time of 4:42.22 and defeated nine other competitors out of the eleven total, before Vollrath, Mascote and Martinez all claimed Top 10 honors in the 5,000-meter run.…
