Flames Move Into Tie for 2nd in GSC Standings With Sweep of Blazers
CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Lee University baseball team moved into a tie for second place in the Gulf South Conference standings with Trevecca Nazarene University (18-9 records) by completing a series sweep of Valdosta State University on Saturday with 11-6 and 11-5 victories at Larry Carpenter Stadium. The wins were the ninth straight by the Flames and they will host the University of West Alabama in a showdown for the top spot in the GSC on Friday and Saturday (April 17-18).
