FAU edges FGCU
BOCA RATON, Fla. 鈥� Florida Gulf Coast beach volleyball (17-12) came up short, 3-2, to No. 15 FAU (17-11) in the FAU Capri Classic finale. In between matches, FGCU senior Kaitlyn Beck was honored as the Eagles' recipient of the Capri Grotowski Leadership award. The award is named after FAU's late head coach, and is awarded to a player on each team at our Capri Classic who exemplifies Capri Grotowski's remarkable characteristics as a teammate, player, and person.
