Ephs battle in 13-9 loss to #5 Amherst on Senior Day
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Williams College women’s lacrosse team battled a tough Amherst College squad on Saturday afternoon at Farley-Lamb Field, with the #5 Mammoths coming away with a 13-XX win. A big second quarter from the visitors was the difference in an otherwise tight game, as the #19 Ephs fall to 9-4 on the season (5-3 NESCAC). Team leading scorer Franny Donohue was again the team’s top scorer on the day, scoring three goals and adding a game-high three assists.
