Emerson Has Career-High 19 Saves, But Knights Fall Late to Skidmore
Potsdam, NY – Senior Griffin Emerson made 19 saves over the course of four quarters for the Clarkson University Men’s Lacrosse team, but Skidmore scored when it counted late, picking up five goals in the final five minutes to down the Golden Knights 11-7 in Liberty League play on Saturday afternoon at Hantz Field. The Golden Knights fell to 7-4 overall and 1-3 in the Liberty League, while Skidmore improved to 10-2 and 3-1. Clarkson is at home against St. Lawrence on Wednesday.
