Eagles Fall Twice To Delaware State Despite Bailey’s Strong Showing
CARY, N.C. – Daiyah Bailey scored four runs and collected two RBIs but North Carolina Central dropped two games in a softball doubleheader to Delaware State at Thomas Brooks Park on Saturday. The Eagles fell 6-3 in the opener and 14-6 in five innings in the second game. Her two-run single in the first game sparked a three-run, seventh-inning rally that nearly erased a 6-0 deficit.
