Crusaders Earn Key Conference Road Win at Barton
WILSON, N.C. 鈥� The Belmont Abbey women’s lacrosse team earned a key Conference Carolinas road win as the Crusaders defeated Barton 17-7 Saturday at Truist Stadium. Katelyn Miller scored four goals and added an assist while Addyson Greenspan and Abbey McCarthy added three goals each. Summer Eddinger made nine saves in goal to earn the win. The win ensures that Belmont Abbey will be no worse than the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Conference Carolinas tournament. Belmont Abbey improves to 10-5 overall and 6-1 in Conference Carolinas play while Barton is now 5-9 overall and 3-4 in league play.…
