Central men’s tennis tripped up at Wartburg
WAVERLY — In its third American Rivers Conference match in as many days, the Central College men’s tennis team lost to Wartburg College 5-2. The top of Central’s (3-14, 2-2 American Rivers Conference) singles lineup had big wins. Bodi Kortz (freshman, Wormerveer, Netherlands/St. Michael College ) cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 1 spot. Alex Slaymaker (Junior, Geneseo, Ill.) battled for a 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 win in the No. 2 slot.
