Cal Drops Tight 5-4 Contest At NC State
RALEIGH – The California softball team came up short in game two against NC State, 5-4, on Saturday evening at Dail Softball Stadium. The Wolfpack jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a two-run homer and added another run in the third to extend the lead to 3-0. Emma Jackson put the Bears on the board with an RBI single up the middle, cutting the deficit to 3-1.
