PHOENIX – Kate Penberthy and Mya Flindt homered in Boise State's 9-4 loss at No. 20 Grand Canyon, Friday night. The Broncos (20-24, 6-9 Mountain West) were held to four hits by the Lopes (40-4, 13-2), who hit four home runs of their own. Penberthy gave Boise State a 1-0 lead with a solo home run in the second.
