PHOENIX – Boise State’s offense was held in check and the Broncos lost 6-1 at Grand Canyon, Saturday. Kate Penberthy homered in the seventh to provide the lone run for the Broncos (20-25, 6-10 Mountain West). The No. 20 Lopes (41-4, 14-2) lead the nation in victories. NOTES Kate Penberthy collected her eighth home run and 16th extra-base hit of the season. Hollie Farmer went 1-for-3 with a double and is hitting .333 in Mountain West games.
