Boxers break through late to split doubleheader at Whitworth

The Boxers erupted for eight runs in the top of the sixth inning in Game 2 to defeat Whitworth, 8-5, Saturday afternoon, salvaging a split in the Northwest Conference doubleheader after dropping the opener, 5-1.
