Blue Devils slip past Bears in OT
POTSDAM, N.Y. 鈥� The Fredonia Blue Devils (7-7, 3-3) scored a last-minute game-winner in overtime to defeat the SUNY Potsdam women’s lacrosse team (3-9, 1-5) 9-8 on Saturday afternoon at Maxcy Turf Field. HOW IT HAPPENED The Bears were first on the board in the opening quarter as senior captain Megan MacWilliams (Parishville, N.Y./Parishville-Hopkinton) scored less than two minutes into the contest, unassisted.
