Baseball Walks It Off Twice In Doubleheader Sweep of Willamette
WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The Whitman College baseball team twice walked off Willamette University to complete a Northwest Conference doubleheader sweep, stretching the Blues’ win streak to three games Saturday at Borleske Stadium. Whitman took the opener 10-9 in 11 innings, rallying from a late deficit and winning it when Sam Mieszkowski-Lapping ripped a walk-off double to center to score Nate Petz in the bottom of the 11th.
