Baseball swept by Spartans
DUBUQUE, Iowa — North Park University baseball dropped a 4-2 decision at the University of Dubuque on Friday afternoon at Dan Runkle Stadium. North Park struck first in the second inning, taking advantage of a walk, a hit-by-pitch, and a defensive miscue. Sophomore right fielder Vinnie Marvucic scored the game’s first run on a fielder’s choice by freshman designated hatter Reyn Ikenaga to give the Vikings an early 1-0 lead.
