Baseball splits Saturday at Bucknell
LEWISBURG, Pa. 鈥� The Holy Cross baseball team split a Saturday twinbill with first place Bucknell falling 5-4 in seven innings before taking a 7-5 decision in game two at Depew Field. The split sends the Crusaders to 16-17, 10-5 PL while the Bison fall to 19-14, 12-3 PL. Holy Cross has won its 10th game over the last 14 contests. Sophomore right-handed pitcher Brett Mulligan toted the mound in game two and tossed the best outing of his collegiate career. Mulligan allowed one hit and one walk over five shutout innings striking out three tossing a career-high 61 pitches.…
