Alcorn State Rallies Late to Top Texas Southern, 10–6
HOUSTON — Texas Southern built an early five‑run lead, but Alcorn State stormed back with nine runs over the final five innings to hand the Tigers a 10–6 loss Saturday afternoon at Bobcat Park. Texas Southern capitalized on a wild third inning to jump ahead 5–0. Christopher Chavez opened the scoring with an RBI double to left, and the Tigers drew four bases‑loaded walks in the frame.
