THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University baseball team fell behind early and could not recover in falling to rival Alabama State, 12-1 in seven innings, in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) game on Saturday at the Bulldog Baseball Field. Alabama State (17-16 overall, 7-7 SWAC) struck for a pair of runs in the top half of the first inning and exploded for five runs in the second to grab an early 7-0 lead.
