Abby Goodfried Wins 1500 at Kit Mayer Classic
The Colorado College women’s track and field team split its squad between the War Hawk Classic in Abilene, Texas, and the Kit Mayer Classic in Golden, Colo. At the Kit Mayer Classic, hosted by Colorado School of Mines, Abby Goodfried won the 1500 race with a time of 4:43.74, while Allison Barker finished second in the 800 in 2:15.87 and Mary Cate Kiser was fourth in the 3,000 steeplechase in 12:04.04.
