#23 Pack Defeated by #7 Wake Forest to Finish the Regular Season
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. 鈥� 23rd-ranked NC State men’s tennis collected its third consecutive loss by falling to seventh-ranked Wake Forest on the road Saturday evening to close out regular season play with a 16-6 (8-5 ACC) record. In the final match of the regular season, NC State was unable to get on top of the reigning national champion team, seventh-ranked Wake Forest. The win allows the Demon Deacons to be outright ACC regular-season champions, while the Pack currently sits tied at fifth with two other teams in the conference rankings.
