#2 Men’s Tennis Overcomes Doubles Deficit to Defeat #5 CWRU on the Road
CLEVELAND, Ohio- The 2nd-ranked University of Chicago men’s tennis team secured a top-five road victory on Saturday, defeating #5 Case Western Reserve University 5–2. After losing the doubles point, the Maroons secured the win with their singles play. UChicago was tested early in doubles play, as the Spartans claimed the opening point by winning at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. The Maroons’ lone doubles win came at the No. 3 spot, where Jack Wong and Robert Zhang earned a 6–4 victory.
