Women鈥檚 Tennis Throws Scare into Haverford
The Muhlenberg women’s tennis team nearly pulled off an upset of 39th-ranked Haverford but came up just short, falling 4-3. The Fords split their squad, sending five players to Allentown and five to Dickinson, but the Mules, who were 69th in Division III in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings released this week, almost foiled the strategy. A win by sophomore Sydney Madlock (pictured above) and senior Kety Gaidamashvili at No. 2, combined with the forfeit at No. 3, gave the Mules the doubles point.
