ST. PETERSBURG -- The Eckerd Tritons women's tennis team fell in a close battle with the visiting Saint Leo Lions on Friday by a score of 4-3. The visitors took the early advantage after winnings two of three doubles matches to begin the contest. Maialen Idiakez and Valentina Sanchez Bronzetti picked up a 7-5 victory at No. 3, but the Lions led 1-0 entering singles.
