Case Western Reserve University graduate student Eli Westrick hit a game-tying bases-loaded triple with two outs in the ninth and scored the game-winning run a batter later on a wild pitch, helping the Spartans overcome a six-run deficit to open their four-game University Athletic Association series against the University of Chicago with an 8-7 walk-off win at Nobby’s Ballpark in Cleveland.
