Warhawk Tennis Sweeps Pointers to open WIAC Play
The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men’s tennis team defeated UW-Stevens Point 7-0 to open conference play for the 2026 season. The Warhawks opened the match by taking all three doubles flights, with no Warhawk duo dropping more than three games. In the singles matches, UWW swept the Pointers. All six Warhawks won their flight in straight sets. Andrew Dumbauld (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) , Theo Billson (Lindfield, England/BHASVIC) , & Seth Smigel (Tiffin, Iowa/Clear Creek Amana) were the three to clinch the match.
