ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington softball team split its doubleheader on Friday against California Baptist, falling 11-8 in a back-and-forth game one before responding with a 2-0 shutout victory in game two at Allan Saxe Field. The Mavericks now move to a 18-20 overall record and a 6-5 record in WAC play.
