TYLER – Four Troup High School doubles teams punched their respective tickets to the upcoming regional tournament Wednesday at the District 16-3A Championships. The district tournament concluded Tuesday at the JoAnn Medlock Murphy Tennis Center on the campus of Tyler Junior College. Two squads finished as the district champions and two as the league runner-up. In mixed doubles, Drew Czaykoski and Bailey Darden came in first place, while Jesus Sanz and Hugo Rubio won the gold medal in boy’s doubles.
