LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team opened Great Lakes Valley Conference play with a 6-1 win over McKendree on Friday morning at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis. The Tritons improve to 10-4, 1-0 GLVC while the Bearcats drop to 8-11, 0-1 GLVC. UMSL won the first two doubles matches and were leading in the third when the doubles point was clinched for the Tritons.
