BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Senior Zack Thompson of the Gardner-Webb baseball team has been named to the Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Year Award Midseason Watchlist. One of 50 catchers across the nation to be selected, Thompson is enjoying a stellar year with the Dawgs. Thompson currently holds a .284 batting average with 31 hits and 22 runs scored.
