Softball takes the series from Hardin-Simmons
BELTON, Texas 鈥� The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor softball team split a Friday doubleheader with Hardin-Simmons University, taking the 3-1 series win. The Cru moved to 18-16 on the season with a 3-3 American Southwest Conference record while the Cowgirls went to 15-7 with a 1-3 mark in league play. Hardin-Simmons took a first-inning lead in the opener but UMHB responded, scoring Shorey Nguyen off an error in the bottom of the frame.
