Sanabria Sets Javelin Record for Men鈥檚 Track & Field at Tufts Spring Invitational
MEDFORD, Mass.鈥� Graduate student Diego Sanabria (San Juan, Puerto Rico) broke the program record in the men’s javelin as the Babson College men’s track & field team competed in six events on day one of the Tufts Spring Invitational Friday at the Ellis Oval/Zimman Field/Dussault Track. Sanabria unleashed a throw of 183-feet even on his final attempt to place first among the 15 competitors. He broke the previous program record of 178-feet, 4-inches set by Nicolas Kube at the 2024 New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) championships.
