Redbirds Fall In Series Opener With Indiana State Friday
NORMAL, Ill. 鈥� The Illinois State baseball program fell 11-1 Friday evening in game one of the weekend clash with Indiana State at Duffy Bass Field. The Redbirds fall to 21-13 overall in 2026 and drop to 5-5 in Missouri Valley Conference play. In the top of the first, the Sycamores tallied a trio of singles to open scoring in the contest. Moments later, Indiana State plated an additional two runs in the frame on a two-RBI double to make its advantage 3-0.
