Ramblers Logs Strong Times on Day One of Chicagoland Championships
CHICAGO – The Loyola University Chicago track & field teams turned in a series of strong distance performances Friday at the Chicagoland Championships, highlighted by a tightly packed finish in the men's 5,000m and multiple personal-best efforts in the 1,500m. Loyola placed five runners in the top seven of the men's 5K, led by Nate Boutin's third-place finish in 15:03.73. Cael Mulholland (4th, 15:03.79), Hayden Healey (5th, 15:03.95), Jason Clayton (6th, 15:04.00) and Woody Jerome (7th, 15:04.18) followed closely behind in a race where less than a second separated the group.
