Pioneer women hold their own against top-flight competition at Jim Duncan Invitational
Results DES MOINES, Iowa – Competing against several NCAA Division I athletes, Grinnell College’s women’s track and field team held its own at the Jim Duncan Invitational Friday. Juniper Schwartzman ’27 won the javelin at Drake Stadium, outperforming six others with a victorious toss of 38.00 meters. Hannah Roth ’27 placed third in the 3000-meter steeplechase in 11 minutes, 21.28 seconds and Morgan Karow ’26 took fourth in the 5000 with a time of 17:40.66.
