Pack in 6th after round one at the El Macero Classic
Davis, Calif. – Nevada Men’s Golf opened play at the El Macero Classic, Friday, on a rainy round one where the scoring average was 74.68. Nevada posted a team total of five over-par 293 and sit in sixth place heading into round two. Monte Chumchaivate and Ben Ortwein both posted the best score of the day for the Wolf Pack, posting even-par 72’s. Chumchaivate had an up and down round, making four birdies, spread two on each nine, offset by four bogies.
