THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University women's tennis team celebrated Senior Day with its first league win of the season as the Colonels defeated New Orleans, 6-1, on Thursday at the Thibodaux Regional Sports Complex. Before the match, the program recognized its two seniors -- Amalie Grube Andersen and Noemie Piquet -- and both posted three-set victories in singles. Nicholls started doubles play by grinding out wins on courts 1 and 3 to claim the point.
