@MSUDenverXCTF: Rust and Simpson Capture Program Records Across Roadrunners’ Two Meets
CANYON, Texas — MSU Denver Outdoor Track & Field put together a strong multi-meet performance this week, competing across two events that were highlighted by a pair of program-record performances. The Roadrunners opened competition at the Mines Midweek and Multi on Wednesday and Thursday before the bulk of the team traveled to the Jo Meaker Classic, hosted by West Texas A&M, on Thursday and Friday. Leading the way was Kathryn Rust, who delivered a historic performance in the women’s heptathlon in Canyon.
