Men鈥檚 tennis blanked by five-time defending PSAC champion Edinboro
KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- The Kutztown University men's tennis team was competitive throughout the afternoon but ultimately unable to grab a point off five-time defending PSAC champion Edinboro in a 7-0 defeat at the Keystone Courts, Friday. The Golden Bears (5-9, 0-3 PSAC) won multiple games in all three doubles matches, including four from Patrick Young (Belfast, Northern Ireland/) and Emmitt Robinson (Ingersoll, Ontario/Ingersoll District Collegiate Institute) in a 6-4 loss at No. 3 to Fabricio Sosa Pons and Duarte Correia who are ranked eighth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) Atlantic Region rankings.
