Men鈥檚 golf tied for fifth place after opening round of Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate
CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. 鈥� Averett University men’s golf showed out on Friday at the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate hosted by Oglethorpe University. With round one in the books, the Cougars are tied for fifth place out of 24 competing teams, three-over-par 72 at the Paradise Point Gold Course. Sophomore Benjamin Afzelius had the best round out of the bunch, as he is tied for fifth individually with a two-under par score, one of just 15 golfers to have a score below par.
