Long Beach State Battles But Falls 4-3 At CSUN
NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -- Long Beach State dropped a tightly contested Big West match on the road Friday, falling to CSUN 4-3 at the Matador Tennis Complex. The difference came early in doubles, where CSUN captured the opening point with wins on courts one (6-3) and two (7-5), putting the Beach in an immediate hole heading into singles play. Long Beach State responded with three strong singles victories, highlighted by Cecilia Costa at the top of the lineup.
