Late Run Lifts Southern Miss Past Georgia Southern in Pitcher鈥檚 Duel
HATTIESBURG, MISS. 鈥� The Georgia Southern Eagles (18-21) lost a hard-fought 1-0 decision to the Southern Miss Golden Eagles (28-16) on Friday night in a tightly contested pitcher’s duel. Both teams traded scoreless frames throughout much of the contest, as veteran Alana Barnard delivered a strong outing in the circle.
